A very thoughtful Bridesmaid commissioned an illustration of a Bride's wedding bouquet and the Bridesmaid's matching hairpieces as a gift to make their wedding flowers last forever. Lovely.

The third year in a row that my drawing and colouring in has turned up in The Guardian Christmas Gift Guide, and it never gives me butterflies any less. From my quieter Leafy range (which came before the Inky Animals but no one really bought it! Maybe they will this year.) Get your own here.  It's been on my "to visit and photograph" list for a long time, and was the perfect opportunity to try out my new wide angle lens. A Victorian tame rainforest, prancing peacocks and a tree top walkway - what's not to love? It was a wonderful day (storm sheltering in deserted glass houses included) and gave me lots of inspiration for new designs! Watch this space... Just a few photos from the day below, I tried and failed to be restrained! Neil and I shared the camera, so if you think any of the photographs below are outstanding, they're probably his. 
I've just polished off a lovely bespoke cushion commission for Interior Designer Celia James. She picked her fabrics and sizes of choice and I made it happen. 
Pleased to announce that you can now buy my designs in an ever expanding range of phone cases. New to the team are the iPhone 5c, and the Galaxy Samsung S5. Yes. 
Oh. My. Gosh. So you know that competition I entered to be stocked in House of Fraser… I've made it through to live judging - THIS FRIDAY! So I'll be doing a presentation to the COO, a few Telegraph Editors, and a handful of other big wigs. Anyone want to help me write a business plan? 
I was forwarded this link by a family member, which was a competition to be stocked in House of Frasers's Oxford Street store for a two week period. Apart from sounding amazing, I thought it looked like a brilliant excuse to get to grips with the video capacity of my camera and have a bash at editing it. 
Turns out I found acting as natural as the trees - that is to say very wooden and creaky. Neil is a very patient (and helpful!) man. 
Update: Editing video of yourself really boosts self esteem... Oh no wait, I mean exactly the opposite of that. The video is linked below - any thoughts? Please don't be too honest ;)

After seeking much opinion on social media, I decided to accept the invitation to stock work on notonthehighstreet.com. So far so good, I've already bagged one order! Yay :) Only a handful of products on there at the mo, but I'll be adding more soon. You can see my shop here. Go on, click it!
