Following my brochure work earlier in the year (scroll down!) I was approached to create another series of architectural illustrations for a commercial property undergoing a complete overhaul, so that the development company could attract new tenants before the work was completed.
As a happy coincidence, I had also drawn the architectural plans for the property whilst working through my Uni summers, so knew the old girl quite well already!
A slightly distorted Streetview image of before work began...
With a spot of imagination...
I'll aim to add an "after" image once work has finished.
Rodent based commission
Another lovely lady at the aforementioned art fair spied my illustrations of mice, moles and other small furry creatures and said if I were to turn them into greetings cards, she would sell them in her lovely shop Hus and Hem in Ledbury, A Smörgåsbord of Scandinavian Design! Was most chuffed, and I always do what I'm told, so please visit these lovely people and spend lots of money in their shop!!
Ledbury Craft Market
I joined in with the annual Ledbury craft market as a start to the "life post uni requires earning" idea... Didn't do too shabbily, and nothing blew away! Plus, gained a cheeky greetings card commission!
If my blog links take you to external websites, I may be receiving a commission for sharing these products. However, please know that all my reviews are my own thoughts and a true representation, and I would never share anything that I wouldn't or haven't personally used or enjoyed.
