Today was the perfect autumnal day for rambling through nature, asking to be smacked across the face with inspiration... It happened! 
I rather fancied inventing a range of surface pattern... 
Where do you go for inspiration..?
Friends of friends are brilliant, especially when they ask for hundreds of wedding invitations! As is the usual process, I sent several samples through once I knew what type of feel she wanted. One was eventually picked - a bundle of pages held together with an illustrated paper strip... 
A lovely couple were searching out wedding invitations for their country garden feel wedding, but were struggling to find anything they liked. I offered to send through some samples, and it went from there! After surveying a range, they chose a single square with an illustrated border, printed double sided. I've made some bits extra blurry for their privacy, but I promise you the text looked pretty too! 
I thought I’d get to know my new area better by driving around looking for lovely things to take pictures of for Four Shires Magazine, as they asked so nicely. Your portfolio is very diverse and the shots are exceptionally eye catching. You are most certainly talented. Blushing, I discovered furrowed farm land, Oxford Botanical Gardens, punts on the River Thames, fallen trees in hidden woodland and some lovely countryside… So can you in the March 2011 edition. 
A lovely lady called Mrs Homden approached me to design a logo for her life coaching business called Watch Yourself Grow. She had quite definite ideas, which eventually led to what you see below.  Here are my workings out (I was a geek at school too.)        A lovely lady saw some of my work in the aforementioned craft fair, and wanted to see some more photos of reds and browns in my portfolio for her to buy for her daughters redecorated room. I duly obliged.     |
