Hand Carved Bamboo Dip Pen for Ink
My hand-carved, UK grown bamboo dip ink pens are perfect for drawing, calligraphy or writing. As an illustrator I use them in my own work extensively - I promise yours won't come pre-inked! As I create every single pen myself from bamboo that I grow, feel free to let me know if you would prefer a thick or a thin nib depending on what thickness of line you would like to achieve. Each dip pen arrives on a recycled eco backing card, making them perfect as a gift.
As a natural product, each one has a unique character. The notches and carved features help the ink come down the nib in a controlled manner, and it can be washed just like a paintbrush though I wouldn't advise leaving it to soak in water. The more it is used, the more flexible it becomes.
