It was my pleasure to create a bespoke set of wedding place settings fitting with the lovely bride's colour scheme of sage green. She wanted perched birds to sit prettily on wine glasses. Much scissor action later... If you have any bespoke wedding needs I'd love to hear from you! I'm also thinking of packaging some sets up and testing the waters on eBay, any thoughts..?

Friends of friends are brilliant, especially when they ask for hundreds of wedding invitations! As is the usual process, I sent several samples through once I knew what type of feel she wanted. One was eventually picked - a bundle of pages held together with an illustrated paper strip...
A lovely couple were searching out wedding invitations for their country garden feel wedding, but were struggling to find anything they liked. I offered to send through some samples, and it went from there!
After surveying a range, they chose a single square with an illustrated border, printed double sided. I've made some bits extra blurry for their privacy, but I promise you the text looked pretty too! A lovely bride had seen some of my wedding stationery here, and so sent me an email asking for more of the some! As she needed a lot of information included for an overseas wedding, she thought my designs were perfect. I started by sending through some mocked up designs (as I always do) with an Olive tree as the theme. After some consultation, this became the below image, which the bride approved. Once all the info had been confirmed, I started making! A lovely way to wrap up the year.
My lovely big brother is marrying a fine lady this month. They asked for a table plan that represented meaningful Italian cities, so of course I got straight down to work! Can you recognise any..? If you can't, please don't tell me!
My poor blog has born the brunt of the hectic whirlwind that is getting married and moving house/county etc, so apologies for the neglect.
It looks as though I'm not the only one who enjoyed all the elements that I designed for the wedding, it's been featured in one of the top 100 wedding blogs, which is very exciting! See http://www.whimsicalwonderlandweddings.com/2011/01/winter-wedding-country-garden.html#more-7178 and http://www.whimsicalwonderlandweddings.com/2011/01/jenny-packham-bride-country-garden-winter-wedding.html for more info! Now I have a bit of breathing space after the busyness of finishing uni, I have had a chance to do some designy wedding bits for myself! From designing, and constructing (LOTS!) of invites, to place settings and hand made bunting, I'm having rather a giggle.
