Bunting and birds on a postcard were requested for a country garden themed Save The Date. I do aim to please...
The main thing I've learnt from this commission is that there are better ways to refer to a Save The Date than an STD... I don't advise that.

As a treat for staring at the summer through a train window, I treated myself to a new camera and went out to capture loads of summer textures. Enjoy, I did.
One of the most serene commercial photoshoots I have done so far! Walford Timber, who unsurprisingly specialise in beautiful timber garden products, wanted me to shoot their new ranges for their catalogue. So for a beautiful sunny day, I wandered around the most picturesque garden, taking photographs of sheds and arches and planting boxes. If only all my shoots were so relaxed! Check out that view...
One of my sweetest jobs to date. A thoughtful chap asked me to illustrate and hand write the poem that he proposed with as a present for their first wedding anniversary (which is paper after all.) Congratulations, I hope she loved it! Ideas... Finished and framed.
I've just come back after a week of rural enforced radio silence in beautiful Springtime Cornwall. Part of the reason for the trip was to teach a Food Photography Workshop for The Hedgecombers, which was great fun. The rest of the time was spent soaking up the sun, beach bbqs of steak and roast veg, surfing, visiting a captive rainforest (less mosquitos than the Amazon - win!) and generally unwinding. Oh and a touch of sunburn. I know I'm sufficiently pasty, no pun intended, to singe in April, yet it takes me by surprise every year.
The Hedgecombers had this to say about it: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! SO much for yesterday! It was just what I needed, and I feel so much more in control of my camera and pictures now. Your teaching style is awesome, and you clearly know & understand your subject perfectly, as you can put it across in real simple terms. Thanks again Kate xx If you have any workshop requirements, drop me a line - I love a one-to-one learning sesh! Society6 (seller of my phone cases, ipod houses and laptop skins) have got another offer for FREE SHIPPING from the US until Sunday 17th March. Follow this link, only available to friends and fans. :) Last year I submitted a design to be considered for a community mural at a school in Brackley for children to undertake. I didn't hear anything of it, so was most surprised when I bumped into it today parking somewhere I've never been before! They must've liked it after all.
A new preserve company contacted me through my Facebook page wanting a fresh and modern, yet painterly logo. Pretty much my favourite brief! I got a little carried away, churning out roughs to choose between before working up the final... A directional rethink meant that the company was going to take a more Chilli based approach. Back to the drawing board foas it were! And the final choice...
Someone spotted my inky animal friends on my Facebook post about my recent greetings card success and wished they could be phone covers... I hate to disappoint! Ta da!
A lovely lady mistook my hand-printed fabric buttons for earrings, which I thought was a jolly marvellous idea! So here is my tiny jewellery range, which you may have spied if you'd popped in to say hi at the Christmas markets last year. Always fun to design new packaging too! So far available in sets grey, blue and birds in "Midnight" in the shop! Each set will have two large and two small pairs. The earrings are silver plated and nickel free, as are the rings. Everyone likes things to match, so here are some rings, also available in the shop, so far in large (30mm button) and small (15mm button) birds in "Midnight!" The rings are adjustable and silver plated, and of course, hand printed.
