Sometimes you can know too much… For example, from my various food shoots and food photography workshops, I know that this "milk" is probably PVA glue. Not so delicious. Sorry porridge peeps! Super high quality phone pic...

One of the most serene commercial photoshoots I have done so far! Walford Timber, who unsurprisingly specialise in beautiful timber garden products, wanted me to shoot their new ranges for their catalogue. So for a beautiful sunny day, I wandered around the most picturesque garden, taking photographs of sheds and arches and planting boxes. If only all my shoots were so relaxed! Check out that view...
A high end catering and marquee company wanted some publicity shots of their newly designed on-table buffet system being used at a wedding, along with some general publicity shots. Very ingenious! No job is too big or small, please get in touch if you would like some photography celebrating your best bits!
Top end hairdresser Ekko asked me to shoot some images of their cut, colour and styling work for the international La Biosethique hair competition! Some research into studio hire in Oxfordshire, a little purchasing of my own studio lighting rig and we were away! I think the models were more nervous than me, but it was probably close... With only one date before the competition deadline that we were all available, there was no room for error! It was a fab day - and I would totally use Banbury Photography Studios again - they couldn't do enough! Some heavy duty fashion retouching later, and I sent off a set of images that I was really proud of. Here's just a few. Now it's just fingers crossed! Before and after some intensive photoshop work, perfecting ever detail from the fringe line to the makeup.
A few months ago, I carried out some branding work for a new company (one of my favourite types of work - I love how many people now are stepping out bravely and making it happen for themselves!)
Next request on the list - banners! As per usual, I came up with a flurry of ideas for the Client to pick from. I spent a very enjoyable day this week at a commercial photo shoot for Pengethley Farm Shop.
I spent a large amount of time at the deli counter, and think I came away smelling like cheese... More than normal... I love seeing work that I've done for people be used and enjoyed. A few weeks ago I shot a lovely Deli and Wine Bar. Seems like they were happy with them. No job is too small, so please get in touch if you need some pics of your businesses best bits!
Due to continued interest, I'm running another wee screen printing workshop at The Banyan Tree.
May 18th, only £45. You can see the marvellous results from past workshops just here! The 4 spaces tend to book up fast, so get a shimmy on if you fancy it! It's been a great pleasure lately helping several new creative business get off the ground lately. One thing I often get asked, is the "right" way to price products. Obviously there are variations according to your specific requirements/product/service, but I put this together as a handy "rule of thumb." Hope it helps!
I'm very chuffed to have my work displayed in the Banbury Museum and Tourist Information shop, from today until the end of April only!
There might even be a few things available that aren't currently stocked anywhere else. |
