When I was learning to dive in an African lake the best part of a decade ago, we always made sure we had a "buddy" with us - a fellow diver. If we ever lost our buddy, you have to signal, "I've lost my buddy" even if you can only see fish. Most likely because they were above your head and they could then see you were a little worried about their absence!
In many ways, I'm finding being freelance is a little like that - you signal to everyone you can about what you do, even if only the fish can see you!
You never know who might hear you and be interested. So this week, I've been telling shops, magazines, studios, the internet, anyone who will listen, just in case they'd been looking for someone who can do what I do. It's so basic, but I've only just realised that being freelance is like being on a constant job hunt... So if it is me you're looking for, hi! I've tried to put some things up to help being found, and would love to hear if you've found me through them! Feel free to like, link, pin or whatever!
Oh and I can't really fathom twitter, is it a necessary evil, or am I missing out big style?
