Sometimes it's so refreshing to break out of what you usually do for no particular reason. So for a recent run of family cards (birthdays, anniversaries etc) I've been trying out papercuts.
It's been fun! Some aren't loads structurally sound though, I got a little scissor happy!
Pretty chuffed to see one of the designs I worked on for Moo.com all live and real and for sale on their website! I quilled all of these other than the star.
My mugshot can be found here, with all the designs found here. Looks like all the paper cuts were worth it!
Combining two things I think are ace - chickens and patterns.
This is going on a new greetings card, but I reckon it might work as wrapping paper... Any thoughts?
So I've finally managed to catch my breath!
Top Drawer was fab: a flurry of on the spot sales, some lovely new stockists (including Dulwich Picture Gallery, To Be Established, BritishDesignBritishMade, and Bond Street Studios) and some very exciting press interest (ahem Ideal Home Magazine and the Guardian) and orders keep trickling in!
Thanks so much for all your lovely words of encouragement!
Now, anyone fancy helping me carve 102 bamboo pens..?
The other Spotted exhibitors were just lovely, I recommend checking them out!
Things have been flat out juggling commuting to moo ever day and getting ready for Top Drawer... In amongst all this juggling, I've managed to put together some new products that I'm officially launching at the show, hope you like them! Available in the shop!
Here is the bundle winging its way to the lucky winner of my birthday inspired giveaway. Sad to have missed out? I'm sure there will be another chance in the future - it's nearly Christmas after all!
If you can't wait that long, everything is available in my shop.

Another lovely lady at the aforementioned art fair spied my illustrations of mice, moles and other small furry creatures and said if I were to turn them into greetings cards, she would sell them in her lovely shop Hus and Hem in Ledbury, A Smörgåsbord of Scandinavian Design! Was most chuffed, and I always do what I'm told, so please visit these lovely people and spend lots of money in their shop!!
