Lots of news and pics to share, but for now I just need to lie down...

Hopefully someone will want to nab some of these this weekend... If you are interested in wholesale orders, please get in touch!
The next Simple Screen Printing workshop will be on the 26th October, at The Banyan Tree in Brackley, Northants, and amazingly there are only a couple of places left! If you'd like to get involved, just drop me a message!
A few months into being at moo.com now, so when an invitation commission comes along, I automatically think: "that would look great on a postcard." Hope City Hereford, who I have had great pleasure working on a number of commissions for, have built a new premises and wanted to shout about their opening ceremony... Ta da! Other ideas included:
Sometimes you can know too much… For example, from my various food shoots and food photography workshops, I know that this "milk" is probably PVA glue. Not so delicious. Sorry porridge peeps! Super high quality phone pic...
BIG NEWS.
You may or may not of heard of it, but there's a massive trade show held in September at Olympia every year called Top Drawer, where people like John Lewis and Amazon come to pick new stock. There's a special section for 10 hand picked new designers called "Spotted" … And I've been chosen as one of the 10! Massive YAY and also EEK! So I'm frantically rushing around trying to work out how I could produce on a large scale, just in case someone big likes what they see! See here and here for my little profile piece on the website. Fingers crossed! One of the most serene commercial photoshoots I have done so far! Walford Timber, who unsurprisingly specialise in beautiful timber garden products, wanted me to shoot their new ranges for their catalogue. So for a beautiful sunny day, I wandered around the most picturesque garden, taking photographs of sheds and arches and planting boxes. If only all my shoots were so relaxed! Check out that view...
A high end catering and marquee company wanted some publicity shots of their newly designed on-table buffet system being used at a wedding, along with some general publicity shots. Very ingenious! No job is too big or small, please get in touch if you would like some photography celebrating your best bits!
A few months ago, I carried out some branding work for a new company (one of my favourite types of work - I love how many people now are stepping out bravely and making it happen for themselves!)
Next request on the list - banners! As per usual, I came up with a flurry of ideas for the Client to pick from. I spent a very enjoyable day this week at a commercial photo shoot for Pengethley Farm Shop.
I spent a large amount of time at the deli counter, and think I came away smelling like cheese... More than normal... |
